Banana Cake
Banana and walnut bread
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 bananas, ripe (mashed)
- ⅔ cup milk
- ½ cup walnuts (cut into large pieces)
Flour mix
- 2 ½ cup flour (sifted)
- 3 tsp baking powder (sifted)
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
In a bowl
- Cream the butter and the sugars
- Incorporate in the eggs
- Whip until white and creamy
- Mix in the mashed bananas
- Incorporate in the milk adding it in batche
- Using a wooden spoon or a spatula, fold in the flour mix adding it in batches
In a greased and lined cake mold
- Pour in the cake batter
In a preheated oven
- Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown
